08-16-07 - Exciting news! An Apology to the Dead has been accepted as an entry for the 2007 7th Annual Microcinema Festival in Palatine Illinois. You can find out more information about the festival by clicking here. Jon and I are very excited about the festival and may find a way to attend. Apparently they give out prizes and the like. We are still trying to pin down exactly when the film is screening, so check back for updates. I believe the showing will be soon, around September 6-9, 2007. More soon.
08-15-07 - Hello one and all. It has been a very long time, indeed, since our successful screening over a year ago. Jon has been busy working on a variety of local shorts, documentaries, and features. I (Tim) have been hard at work as a teacher for middle school students and a basketball coach. On the side, I have created some goofy shorts with some of my students and working on a new script and a novella. We're both finally getting back around to working on Apology and hope to have some updates soon. In the meantime, check out the article above and let us know if you can make it out there for the festival!
06-08-06 - One of Tim's friends, Mike McLeod, was at our cast and crew screening in April, and he took a lot of excellent pictures. 05-12-06 - Sorry for the lack of updates of late. Things have been busy, indeed. A while back, after our cast and crew screening, a reporter from the MSU State News wrote a review of our film which you can find by following this link. It's a generous review, and praises the performances of our lead actors. They also seemed to like our music! Plus, it's our first review!!!
04-13-06 - The MSU State News (the local campus newspaper for Michigan State) has just posted an article about Apology. You can check it out in today's (Thursday, 04/11) edition of the newspaper. You can also read about it online here.
04-12-06 - The Lansing City Pulse print publication has written an article about our April cast and crew screening. The article is now online here!!!
04-12-06 - WKAR from Michigan State University aired a 4-minute segment for us at 5:30am and 7:30am on Thursday, April 13, the day of the cast and crew screening. You can listen to the 26-minute full-length version HERE.
